Final Game of the Season

Friday, after my nap, we went over to Joel and Kara's for McKynna's second birthday.  We had cake and ice cream and watched her open presents before making our way to Mesquite for what would be the final game of the season.  It was a heart wrenching loss for the Bobcats if only they could have played the first three quarters like they did the last.  I can't complain though.  They had a great season and with our freshman quarterback the next few years look bright!

That night after the game we came home to catch the end of the 10 o'clock news on channel 8.  Imagine our surprise when the very first screen shot of the Celina game was this...

I immediately jumped up and said that is Christian on tv.  Chad rewound the tv, called the boys in and pressed pause so we could get these screen shots with our phone and text them to everyone we were at the game with.   In the top picture, to the left of the cheerleader is Christian, Brock, Wyatt and Scotty.  Jace, and Holt are under her right arm and April and I (in grey sweat shirt) can be seen just above her arm.  Chad zoomed in to get the next one of the boys....

Who knew?  We have the news broadcast saved on the Tivo for posterity.  Well, we will see.
