The Boosterthon made it's way to Celina for the first time this year. The kids were both really excited to participate and get donations for their schools. For two weeks prior to race day, they would both come home every day talking about Dan the man and all the goodies they could earn for their pledges.
On the day of the Boosterthon 2 1/16th of a mile tracks were set up for the kids to run around while listening to music. When it was all said and done Christian ran 3 miles and Carson ran 2 miles. Not too shabby.
INTERMEDIATE BOOSTERTHON
The kids would get a mark on the back of their shirts after every lap they completed.
